AYURVEDIC NO FLU BROTH
There are Ayurveda spices in this vegetarian recipe blend that helps eliminate mucus from the body. These spices also relieve coughs and body aches for short periods (similar to cough syrup.) Other ingredients contain antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities. I’ve had wonderful results using it for colds and flu in the past for myself and my children. Drink as needed, or use it to help boost your immune system long-term.

INGREDIENTS:
1 medium bulb garlic
1 large onion
3 tablespoons of nutritional yeast
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 heaping tablespoon turmeric
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon lemon juice (or replace black pepper with lemon pepper)
A quarter teaspoon sea salt or to taste
2 tablespoons of olive oil
3 cups water
HOW TO PREPARE:
Sautee half the garlic in olive oil with onion. Add remaining ingredients except for three cloves of garlic and nutritional yeast. Bring to a boil then simmer on medium to low heat for 10 to 15 minutes. Mince or use a food processor to liquefy the three garlic cloves.
